For sale is a beautiful, highly detailed vintage replica of the famous pre-Columbian "Key Marco Cat" statuette. This piece was handmade and hand-painted in 1996 by Florida artisan Ann McNichols to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the artifact's 1896 discovery.
Though crafted from ceramic/clay, it features an incredible faux-wood grain texture that perfectly mimics the weathered look of the ancient original.
The bottom is hand-marked with "Replica Marco Cat 2/6/96 by Ann McNichols".
