Wonderful addition for the holidays. Something for your children to study and add to the wonder of the holiday. They could help you put together the pieces and see how it works.
The three levels of the carousel are angels with horns; shepherds with their flock; and the manger with the Three WIse Men and animals. Only the two lower levels spin when the candles are lit. Pack of 20 replacement candls (4 1/4 inches) included.
The tower and other components are made of a lightweight craft wood and is fairly sturdy. The blades for with windmill are a heavy balsa wood that is sturdy but more delicate than the other components. All item are not intended for young children.NOTE: You will need to make sure the center metal rod (spindle) that runs from the paddles on top down all the levels is resting in proper center "cup" for the carousel to turn. Just hold the spindle and adjust slightly and you should be able to feel how it is resting and turning when you manually spin the blades. If you light the candles and the carousel does not turn, check this issue to make sure it is resting correctly. You will not be able to see where it is resting. This will be by feel.
Candles may drip wax so put a tray or other protective layer underneath.
