Up for sale is a rare vintage 2-blade pocket/pen knife manufactured by the legendary Colonial Knife Co. in Providence, Rhode Island.
This model 506 features a beautiful white "cracked ice" pearloid scale handle. One side is printed with regional advertising text: "SEAL KNIFE SHOP Rt. No. 2 Box 506 MORRISTOWN, TENNESSEE". Tang stamped with "COLONIAL PROV. R.I." on the main blade.
Features two distinct blades: a main pen blade and a smaller secondary blade. Very compact size, shown next to a US dollar coin for scale. A fantastic addition for collectors of vintage Americana, advertising souvenirs, or classic pocketknives.
Condition:
Good vintage pre-owned condition. The blades have great snap when opening and closing. No wobble. Steel shows light signs of aging, tiny surface pocket wear, and minimal patina, but remains shiny and unsharpened. The printed advertising text is clear and readable. Please see photos.
