The plane was lightly cleaned and waxed. There are no cracks in the sole but does have some staining from surface rust. Blade will need to be sharpened. Knob and tote the vanish is crackling but the wood is solid and no signs of cracks or brakes. This will make a great user or addition to collection. The box does show signs of wear. There is a craftsman instruction book that comes with it as well
