This set includes the hard-to-find No. 9 Large Block Logo Skillet (Pattern 778) paired with its correct, matching High Dome Self-Basting Skillet Cover (Pattern 1049).The set features Griswold\'s classic factory-plated finish (chrome/nickel), which was designed to resist rust and make cleanup easier than bare iron. The underside of the lid boasts beautiful, crisp raised lettering with patent dates from 1920 and 1925.Condition Details:Plating & Finish: The outer plating shows some honest wear, minor staining, and light surface rust pinpricks consistent with age, but retains a nice vintage luster.Cooking Surface: The interior shows typical plating wear from use.
