Hand crafted in Coventry Rhode Island. In pre-owned condition. The pewter square on top of the lid appears to be slightly off center (pictured). The hinges are painted (pictured). The latch closes but doesn't click and stay in place. I don't know if this was how it's made or if the metal lip on the Clasp needs to be pushed back a little for a snugger fit. Sold as is.
