This is an exquisite custom re-handled 1940-1968 John Primble Belknap Hdw. & Mfg. Co. Custom 5921 Barlow Pocket knife!It has been professionally re-handled in Crazy Lace Agate (real stone) that gives it a beautiful and exotic look. The patterns & colors of stone look amazing on here!
Note on the handles: Crazy Lace agate stone is a very hard stone material at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale which is roughly equivalent to the hardness of steel, so these handles won\'t easily chip or scratch. They have been professionally handcrafted and installed (small shop operation in the USA) using a proprietary anchor bond matrix system which creates a dual-surface bond between the stone and the metal providing unmatched durability.
In good vintage condition! Blades have strong snap, 1/2 stops are met perfectly and have no wobble. Bolsters show no damage and look great. The stone handles have excellent fit andhigh polishfinish, with no damage, chips or cracks. Note as with any natural material the stone handles will have differences side to side.
