Great vintage piece of art ceramic pottery. Figural big mouth baby bird. Used as either an ashtray, Ash Receiver, sponge holder, succulent planter, or catch all.

This is a very cute hand painted ceramic baby bird with its mouth wide open. Bright pistachio green glaze with black splatters. The mouth is raspberry red. Measures 4 1/2" wide, 4 3/4" tall. Markings on the base are hard to make out. There is one shallow chip on the upper interior beak. See final photo.
