Vtg Oval Scroll Carved Gesso Over Wood Gold Gilt Frame Convex Bubble Glass 1900s For Sale

This vintage oval ornate scroll carved gesso over wood gold gilt frame with convex bubble glass comes from an estate of a woman who lived to be 102 yrs of age.

I was told someone opened the back and gave me 2 photos of a name, along with most likely the studio item i.d. number and a calendar front page cover dated 1910 that was tucked into the portrait.

I am including the calendar page.

The photo is possibly a parlor portrait, maybe the woman was of importance.

The frame measures approximately 24x18 and is in very decent condition for its age and I have included photos of any obvious imperfections. It still has the original hanging wire and backing.  This collectible decorative piece showcases intricate details and a classic design and the scrolled pattern and gilt finish add a touch of elegance, making it a perfect choice for displaying cherished photographs or artwork in a stylish and timeless manner.
