Because he famously abdicated the throne in December 1936 to marry Wallis Simpson, this coronation legally never took place—making surviving, large-scale memorabilia highly collectible.
Measuring an impressive 32\" x 20\", this is a full-sized display banner, not a small hand favor. Features a striking portrait of the uncrowned King set against the Union Jack.
Condition: Exhibits a natural, aged cream patina/browning consistent with 90-year-old textiles. There has been a couple repairs and there are a few marks, holes and edge wear.
