This is an authentic vintage Soviet-era Russian miniature trinket box made from traditional papier-mâché and finished with high-gloss lacquer. The lid features a finely hand-painted architectural panorama of Vladimir, one of Russia's historical Golden Ring cities. The artwork uses rich golden, amber, and yellow tones with luminous mother-of-pearl or metallic foil underlays beneath the sky and cathedral domes to capture light brilliantly. The lower left corner is hand-inscribed with the city name "Владимир" (Vladimir).
