Verified that it does work. Will still heat up and percolate coffee as it should.
Latch at the top of handle, which brings the hook down and secure to the top of the lid, has had the taps broke off so it won’t latch down tight. It would need to be fixed or replaced to have it still latch down. The percolator as mentioned before still functions.
