Mid Century Modern SIGNED "Tauno Wirkkala HUMPPILA Finland" FLOWER Pot VASE Ulpukka (Ulpukka translated to english meams "Yellow Waterlily") circa 1960s!
In excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very minor wear, see photos. This size and shape is hard to find in this pattern. Measures 6" tall 6.5" at it's widest point, weighs 2.034 kgs unboxed. Scandinavian mid century design and is fully signed by Tauno Wirkkala, he was the brother of Tapio Wirkkala who was considered the inventor of Finnish design! Features clear and dark amber (leaning to brown) glass and is done in a style which was very popular in the 60's and 70's. Photos do not do justice. Would make a great addition to your collection.
