**Item Description:**
Up for sale is a classic vintage True Temper single-bit felling axe. This piece features a beautifully struck, highly legible "TRUE TEMPER" stamp across the cheek.
**Product Details & Condition:**
- **Overall Length:** Measures 34 inches from the top of the poll to the base of the handle.
- **Axe Head:** The head is in solid condition with a uniform dark gray patina. The cutting edge is cleanly profiled and sharp. The poll is flat and clean with very minimal historical tool marks. Excellent tight wooden wedge mount in the eye.
- **Handle:** Fitted on a curved wooden handle with a rich dark finish. Please note: The fawn-foot knob at the very bottom of the handle has a prominent break/chip missing out of the wood on the rear side (clearly shown in the final close-up photo). The handle remains structurally solid to hold, but is priced accordingly due to this cosmetic flaw.
