A gorgeous, highly authentic piece of vintage West German stoneware craftsmanship! This traditional 0.5-liter ceramic beer mug was manufactured by the legendary Simon Peter Gerz pottery company in Western Germany. The front features a vibrant, highly detailed illustrated scene showcasing the historic medieval architecture and horse-drawn carriage layout of Dinkelsbühl, a famous walled town along Bavaria's Romantic Road.
The base is crisply stamped with the "0.5l GERZ" factory hallmark and features the incised "W. Germany" manufacturing origin mark on the bottom rim. The interior and glaze are clean and bright.
