Damascus for this razor was created by forge welding multiple layers of steels into a Solid block called a billet (15N20 &1095 High Carbon Tool Steels). The billet is folded and re-welded several times to produce several layers. Patterns are created by manipulating the steel during the forge welding process. When acid is added to the blade, it attacks the layers of hard and soft steels differently, highlighting the attractive layered pattern in the Steel.The combination of layered hard and soft steel creates blade flexibility, toughness and produces invisible serrations on the blade that aid cutting. The hardness of the Damascus steel is 55-60 HRC on Rockwell scale. The handle is made out of Olive Wood, with silver pins spanning the blade. There is a beautiful mosaic pin embedded in the handle. The spine of the razor is beautifully file worked. This razor comes with a genuine leather sheath. This razor is a must have! Specifications:

• Returns Due To Defective Merchandise:

All returns must be pre-approved before sending the items to us. We can then exchange the product. Refunds may only be issued when an item is no longer available. All items must be sent back to us in the original packaging with all parts included.
• Returns Due To Shipping Damage:
  If your package or merchandise arrives damaged, please let us know within 5 days or receipt of the package by emailing us your full name, order number with a detailed description of the damage. You may email us. Once we have been notified of the damage, you are then responsible for filing claim with the shipping company. DO NOT send damaged items back to us without approval. All items must be sent back to us in the original packaging with all parts included.
• Returns Due to ACCIDENTAL ORDERS:
  If the order was placed by accident and was shipped, shipping costs are not refundable. It is your responsibility to read the product description before placing an order. It is your responsibility to make sure when ordering the shipping service and cost. We will not return any shipping costs once the order has been shipped under any circumstances.
• Returns Due to UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS:
  We cannot return merchandise due to the fact that you do not like the merchandise. We will not exchange or issue refunds in cases where the customer simply does not like the item or is disappointed with the item. If an exception is made, then the item will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
• In-Stock Policy:
  Our website provides updated information on stock levels of our products. If an item oversells, we will contact you to make other arrangements.
• Fraud Policy:
  We are not responsible for credit card fraud. We cannot refund merchandise if your credit card was used without your authorization. It is your responsibility to contact police authorities in this event.
• International Orders:
  Returns are not accepted for international orders. We do not refund any shipping costs for international orders for any reason. If customs refuses your package or it is not delivered to addresses outside of the United States, we will not refund any amounts that are incurred for shipping, handling, customs, importation, or other transportation related to the transaction. Buyer should be aware of the laws and regulations for their own country and buyer assumes all risk when purchasing items that may be prohibited in their area, or may be refused at customs. For example: if a Viking Sword is shipped to Denmark and customs refuses it and sends it back to the seller, the seller will not refund the shipping cost back to the customer. If the merchandise arrives damaged there also may be a 50% restocking fee associated, or possibly no refund at all depending on the circumstances. Seller has made it clear that buyer will not receive a refund for shipping internationally outside of the United States.
