Up for sale is a fantastic, 100% authentic antique 2-piece military uniform coat button lot representing the 2nd and 5th Regiments of the historic Belgian Light Infantry / Riflemen ("Chasseurs-à-Pied"). These pieces beautifully span the late 19th-century up through the mobilization of World War I (circa 1880s–1914).
* **Button 1:** Features a high-relief embossed hunting horn insignia wrapped in scrollwork surrounding a bold central numeral "2" (2nd Battalion).
* **Button 2:** Features the matching high-relief hunting horn insignia surrounding a bold central numeral "5" (5th Battalion).
Per accompanying estate notes and manufacturing styles, these are confirmed genuine Belgian pieces. They feature robust multi-piece brass faces with secure, intact wire shanks on the reverse.
