Offered here is an original WWI-era (1914–1918) Central Powers patriotic/an alliance stickpin (Anstecknadel) featuring four enamel flag panels in a shield design. These were privately purchased and worn on lapels, hats, or civilian attire to show support for the wartime alliance.
