Authentic WWI Russian Imperial Family Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) – Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna in Red Cross Nurse Uniform.
Up for sale is an original antique real photo postcard featuring Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna of Russia (1897–1918), the second daughter of Tsar Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. This historic image captures the Grand Duchess dressed in her official Red Cross nurse's habit. During the First World War, Tatiana and her older sister Olga served selflessly in military hospitals, assisting in surgeries and caring for wounded soldiers.
Key Details: Front Inscription: Features the printed Russian text at the bottom: "Е. И. В. Вел. Кн. Татiана Николаевна" (Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna).
Reverse Side: The back is unposted and features an old, faint pencil inventory mark reading "№ 120 / 15.00".
Condition: Excellent vintage/antique condition. The card shows beautiful sepia tones, clean edges, and very minimal corner wear consistent with age. No major creases, tears, or heavy staining. A magnificent piece of Romanov and WWI history, perfect for any serious imperial royalty or postal history collection.
