* Official Press Heritage: The reverse side of the photograph features a crisp, purple-inked \"Released Official Navy Photograph\" stamp issued by the Office of Public Relations Photographic Section, Navy Department, Washington D.C., complete with the handwritten archival filing metadata: \"STL No. 7040.\"
* Prominent Historical Figure: Features Lieutenant C.D. Dillon (Clarence Douglas Dillon) serving as Aide and Flag Secretary. Decades later, Dillon served as the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury under Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson.
* Full Commander Roster: Includes decorated leaders Rear Admiral F.D. Wagner (USN) and Captain R.W. Morse (USN), along with 23 other fully identified administrative and operations officers mapped left-to-right.
Condition:The photograph and typed roster sheet are in good vintage condition. There is a small, clean, stable ~1/2-inch tear on the top margin border of the photograph extending slightly into the background brick architecture (please see close-up image). This minor defect is confined purely to the background structure and does not touch or obscure any personnel faces, uniforms, or text. The vintage paper shows expected age toning and alignment pinholes on the margin consistent with historical military binder storage.
Ships flat, securely packed in an acid-free archival protective sleeve with rigid cardboard backing to guarantee damage-free transit.
