WWII British Lee-Enfield No 4 Mk 1 Cruciform Bayonet Singer Zinc Scabbard T2062 For Sale

Rare WWII Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 Cruciform Bayonet, excellent working press-stud mechanism, the quadrangular blade shows 80% original bluing and no pitting. Fading on the blade edges from scabbard wear. The socket shows some faded scattered finish on it. The right side of the socket is stamped with what looks like 72. Just in front of the socket closer to the blade shows forward arrow, Model no. and Singer Markings. The opposite side is correctly unmarked. Comes with correct steel scabbard, unmarked, and with a \"142\" on the side, (military rack/inventory). the fact that this bayonet has the early zinc scabbard with the 142 markings is a plus. The best we have seen. Singer only made 75,000 of these cruciform bayonets. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
