This piece displays beautiful historical character. - Eagle Head Pommel: Beautifully cast with crisp feather detailing. Crucially, the fragile red gemstone/glass eyes remain 100% intact on BOTH sides, which is incredibly rare for surviving examples of this dirk.
- Grip Scales: The grip scales are solid, clean, and tightly fitted with no cracks or movement.
- Wire Wrap: The decorative twisted wire wrap remains tight, complete, and fully intact.
- Crossguard: Features the classic stylized, swept-wing feather design showing a rich, unpolished brass patina.
BLADE CONDITION:
The unsheathed dual-fullered steel blade shows honest age, characterized by uniform graying, carbon spotting, and localized surface oxidation/patina as pictured.
