WWII U.S. fabric white star/ blue surriund glider section, dated 6 June 1944 For Sale

WWII U.S. fabric white star/ blue surround fabric glider section, dated 6 June 1944. Estate sale find. The G.I. that brought this back was in the 101st Airborne. This is a fantastic fabric section from one of the US gliders that landed in France on June 6, 1944. This has been folded in a box since the vet came back from the war. Has an inscription on the unpainted side. The painted side has a white star with a blue surround. I only unfolded this enough to make the picture of the penciled inscription. I think that the new owner should have someone who knows how to handle fragile fabric and painted items open and restore this piece of history. Since I didn’t unfold this I’m not sure of the actual size. I have other items that I will be listing later. See the pictures for the best description. Any questions? Please ask before offerding.
