This is a highly detailed authentic WWII US Army M2-series Service Gas Mask set. The facepiece is clearly stamped "GOODYEAR 1-42", dating production to January 1942, just after the US entry into the war.
The set includes the original flexible breathing hose, a corrugated filter canister marked "LOT C766-17 CWS J&J A" (Johnson & Johnson), and the OD green canvas M1 carrier bag with original stenciling. This is an exceptional display piece for history buffs or militaria collectors looking for an early-war dated specimen.
