Volume One contains the publisher’s printing code “[h·5·45],” identifying this as a May 1945 wartime printing. Both volumes are marked “Property U.S. Navy” and bear the handwritten name of Rollace A. Pugh.
Historical research identifies him as Rollace Allen Pugh of Kanab, Utah, who served in the United States Navy during World War II from July 9, 1943, through December 11, 1945. The May 1945 printing date falls directly within his documented naval service, giving this set authentic WWII-era Navy provenance.

CONDITION:
