Original vintage WORLD WAR II U.S. MILITARY .50 CALIBER M2 AMMUNITION CONTAINER.Nice piece of United States small arms logistical history. This original WWII steel ammunition box represents the classic side-loading M2 variant engineered for deployment alongside the Browning .50 caliber heavy machine gun. The end panel features embossed stampings including the \"NMPC\" code (National Metal Products Company) and the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps Flaming Bomb acceptance symbol. The reverse side has the yellow stencil documenting its bulk packing role at the legendary Frankford Arsenal.
