The Patch: This sale is for 1 WWII Vintage 6th Armored Division Shoulder patch with a white back. This variation has a lemon yellow apex.I have attached images of both sides of the patch you you can see its condition. This one has been used. It has a very nicewhite backing. This patch does not glow under the UV light.
The History:The 6th Armored Divisionentered the European Theater on July 18th 1944 over Utah Beach.Their first action came while they attacked German positions on the Brittany Peninsulawhere they later helped take Brest.They then moved East across Francetaking Angers, Orleans,Autun, and Nancy.They continued fighting East until the Battleof the Bulge. They established defensive positions near Metzand then were heavily engaged around Bastogne.They attacked east into Germany after the Bulge and helped liberate theConcentration Camp at Buchenwald. Theyhad a brief period of occupation in Germanybefore they were returned to the United States.

I try not to post items with excessive wear because I want you to get good quality items. I try to post good photos of each item but they get shrunk down when they appear in the listing.
