Distinctive Wendell August Forge hand-forged aluminum commemorative plate created for the Grand Chapter of Pennsylvania, Order of the Eastern Star. The approximately 12” plate features the recognizable Eastern Star emblem at center surrounded by an elaborate interwoven Celtic-style border, all rendered in raised metalwork. The reverse retains the Wendell August Forge maker’s mark along with commemorative inscriptions associated with the Pennsylvania Order of the Eastern Star, including its 1994 centennial observance and the June 1995 “Love Grows Here” session. An unusual piece of Pennsylvania fraternal history and Wendell August Forge craftsmanship that would display beautifully in an OES, Masonic, Pennsylvania history or American fraternal memorabilia collection.
