Released in 1991 by Marvel to capitalize on Wendy's popularity after his long stint with the West Coast Avengers, the comic took a comedic approach and focused on Simon Williams' attempts to break into Hollywood. This series directly inspired the recent Disney+ hit series "Wonder Man."
