Each pen has 18K gold-plated brass fittings and a black acrylic grip. This pen features natural, oceanic origin, grade AAA oceanic white mother of pearl on a round, smooth barrel. Long panels of this precious material are carefully measured, cut, placed, and polished by hand to create a perfectly smooth and seamless round surface. This intensive polishing process shows off the nacre's deep vibrancy and iridescence naturally, with no clear coat or other finish applied. A shimmering array of various colors and hues can be seen shifting on this pen’s body in the light.
