Very old china gravy boat and large serving dish that is still fashionable in design and color for today. Gravy boat measures approx. (bowl only) 6.5\" l x 3.5\" w x 3\" t. Long shallow serving bowl approx. 12\" x 9\" x 2\"t. No chips or cracks, minimal to no crazing, some normal vintage discoloration in bottom of serving dish (see photos).Maastricht, Holland, was the city where Petrus Regout established the De Sphinx pottery in 1836. De Sphinx operated under the name Petrus Regout & Co. until 1899. The firm was noted for its transfer-printed earthenware.
