This \"Buy-it-Now\" sale isfor onenew reproduction mounting gasket for Zenithradios with chassis #5616that usethe round convex glass with nominal diameter 6-3/4 inch. See model numbers above that use this chassis.
Outer diameter of the gasket is ~7.15 inch and inner diameter is ~6.4 inch. The 3 slots in the gasket are positioned to mate with the 3 metal tabs on the dial panthat position the dial scale and the glass.
The gasket is CNC machined from black paper/foam/paper composite poster boardand is about 1/8 inch thick. It matches the 3 mounting tabs on the front of the radio dial and allows the glass to sit on a resilient surface and raises the glass toreduce the probability ofinterference with the tuning dial pointer. The gasket is placed on the dial, then the glass, then the two fastening clips are attached with machine screws to secure the glass. Glass and clips not included.
