This typewriter was made by Smith Corona in the United States in 1957. It comes in battleship grey with striking forest green keys. The original holiday case is included, and has been cleaned. The appeal of the holiday case is that the mechanism holding in the typewriter can be removed to use it for luggage, and then the mechanism can be placed back into position to hold the typewriter. The clipper was the economy typewriter in their line of machines for sale at the time. It was designed without a tabulator or paper support, but it boasts the other great features, such as bichrome ribbon settings, end-of-line settings, single-to-triple line spacing, ratchet release, and a carriage locking lever.
This typewriter has been cleaned, serviced, and provided a new ribbon. It works quite well and with the fresh ribbon can be used immediately upon arrival.
