Antique 1878 Missouri Pacific Railroad MOPRR Reed & Barton Ice Water Pitcher
Extremely rare and unique pitcher with polar bear catching a salmon on top.
A gift from "employees of the MOPRR" or Missouri Pacific Railroad to Mr. & Mrs. Wincheck.Etched on the side of the pitcher is this inscription "Presented to Mr & Mrs Wincheck by the employees of M.O.P.R.R"
Patina is intact, we did not attempt to polish this gem.
Dent in one side (see photos). Liner is intact and has a hairline crack alone the bottom edge (see photos). One lid thumbscrew is missing.
Pitcher measures 10" tall without lid and 7.5" wide at base. With lid, from bottom to top of the bear is 14"
