Antique Wedgwood Jasperware Matchstick Holder

Fresh from a Dallas Estate is this Wedgwood Jasperware Matchstick Holder.The design is a royal blue background with three different detailed raised off-white scenes of men and women and a continuous ring of leaves around the extended base. When the item is turned over, there is a circular engraved pattern that was used for striking matchsticks. Within one of these creases on the bottom is the imprint Wedgwood. This itemmeasures 2 3/8" tall, the rim is 1 7/8" wide, the depth inside is 1 7/8" and the base is 2 1/2". This matchstick holder is in excellent antique condition. There is a very small nick on the top rim, the inside has some small orange stains and there is some wearing of the paint around the outer edge of the base.Please view our other listings of Wedgwood that can be combined for shipping.
