"Castle Mt Bungalow Camp"
Photo postcard shows detailed interior of one of the bungalows, surprisingly it is decorated with an ornately carved chest or table on the left side of photo. There are several wicker pieces, a mosaic table in foreground, several round leather ottomans, prize spotted cat hide and antelope trophy on wall. The floor to ceiling fireplace is decorated with vases and statues. Look at the hanging lights, they look oriental wow! A vintage woven rug hangs on the wall to the right of the fireplace, with a display case of vases and pottery inside.

It is near Mint condition, doesn't lay quite flat, slight curl to each end. Unused, not posted. The Castle Mt Bungalows Camp was originally built in 1939 by Grandfather Yerxa. He and his family came out from Blackie, Alberta. They chose Castle Junction to settle, as it was the intersection of the roads to Radium Hot Springs and the main highway. It was here they built their bungalow camp naming it Castle Mountain Bungalows. Now 81 years later it still stands, with a new name Castle Mountain Chalets, and most likely a new look.
