This eye catching cotton Amish baskets crib quilt is all treadle machine pieced and hand quilted. The quilt made in the third quarter of the 20th century.It measures 32" X 40" and isexcellent condition, with very subtle color variation in the black behind the basket design, and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall.
There is quilting around the piecework and in grid, heart, cable, and other designs in the background, all at 7 stitches to the inch.
The back is solid navy blue, the hand stitched binding is solid maroon, and the batting is thin.
The pics just don't do justice to this Amish beauty in GREAT CONDITION - it would make a terrific wall hanging!
