This listing is for a charming collector plate by Ross Logan entitled \"Farmer\'s Pride\" which is the First of Four Plates in the \"More Deere Memories\" collection. This limited edition 9 1/4-inch plate is hand numbered and inexcellent condition.
The information on the back of the plate says in part: Farmers Pride, is not only the feeling one has when one makes a purchase of new equipment, but also with their farming practices and knowing that strong, reliable equipment and a company dedicated to its product and to its farmers, will help take them successfully into the future. The production of the \"AR\" was due to the demand for standard tread tractors, smaller than the \"D\". Not veering far from big brothers tracks, the \"AR\" retained the working capacity, economy and simplicity of the popular model \"A\" only on standard tread. Coming off the line in the Spring of 1935, it enjoyed a production run of 18 years ending in 1953........
As you can see in the photo, the colors are vibrant and the attention to detail is nicely done making this difficult to find plate a great gift choice or a nice addition to a collection.
