This OUTSTANDING cotton 30's "prairie flower" quilt is hand appliqued and hand quilted, with a swag border and a scalloped edge.It measures 90"X 92" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.The hand quilting is exceptional, with quilting around and within the applique and in dense and detailed flower petal, straight line, heart, and feathered designs in the background, all at an even 10-12 stitches to the inch.
The back and hand stitched binding are white,and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Terre Haute, Indiana.
