A gorgeous and aesthetic red-pink Fluorite crystal from the famous Huanggang Mines of China, the Red Pocket of August 2019. This GORGEOUS, GEM, RED-PINK crystal is a textbook octahedron measuring 7cm cm on its longest edge. The Fluorite is well-formed and has an almost glassy luster, considerably different from the majority of pieces from this find. The color and gemminess of this piece is just astounding! 7 sidecar, perfect octahedral crystals scattered on the piece The top octahedral point is transparent and pink-red and one can see right down and through the crystal in most areas and there is a slight turoffer area near the base. The right side and base are slightly occluded due to the presence of complementing green Actinolite (byssolite) inclusions. Overlapping triangular growth patterns on the faces enhances the presentation of this beautiful Fluorite. Contacted on the bottom where it was attached to the pocket.
