I have been fortunate enough to have purchased a small historians archival library collection of train related paper items. All are original. None are reproductions or reprints. Please see my other listings for more of this ephemera.
This listing is for an original and perhaps the rarest of the catalogs from this collection. It is a circa 1910 catalog entitled "Locomotives Recently Built. The Lima Locomotive & Machine CO Lima Ohio U.S.A. No 14-A" Bound with staples plus string tie. it has 14 builders photos from the smallest a 0-4-0t tank loco to the largest model 'D" 50 ton Shay. Also spec on the locos. Also attached to the front page of the catalog is a 3 page attachment typed and mimeographed on rice paper "List of tools for Shay Locomotives from 13 tons up to and including 20 tons". Attached to the back of the catalog ins another 3 page blue print fold out with more loco specifications.
It is in excellent condition with the exception of a tear at the binding edge of the 2 covers. A treasure trove of Lima information.
