Vintage Framed Print of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Icon from Rome, Italy
I'm not sure how old this piece is, but it was hanging in my grandmother-in-law's house since at least the 1960s.
It is framed in glass and ornate golden wood.
The tag on the back reads:"This picture is a true copy of the ancient miraculous image of our Mother of Perpetual Help and has been touched to the original which is venerated in the Redemptorist Church of Sant' Alfonso in Rome.For additional copies writePERPETUAL HELPREDEMPTORIST FATHERSLIGUORI, MISSOURI"
All I could find online is "liguori.org," but they have no copies like this one that have been touched to the original.
I am not a practicing Catholic, but I know how special this piece would be to one. It had such a prominent place in my grandmother-in-law's home. It has purported healing powers and would make a wonderful addition to any Catholic family's collection.
The price includes shipping. I will be having it professionally packaged and shipped as it is such an important piece of art and history. The estimate I got for this service is between $50 and $70 depending on where it is going.
