The item is hand painted on Celluloid (a synthetic hard plastic that was widely used inFrance in the 1800's).
This item measures approx. 3 1/2" wide by 4 1/2" high.There is writing on the front bottom but it is very worn and difficult to make out.
The item is vintage and has age, wear, and imperfections. Also, the top left corner isa bit bent.
