The author of this book was Rabbi Yosef Zundel Hutner, the Rabbi of Bialystok and it was published by the Intarenhandler print shop in Warsaw, in the year 1880.Rabbi Hutner was known as a Tzaddik and Jews from Lithuania used to travel great distances to be blessed by him.Rabbi Mordecha of Ushmina, himself a great scholar and righteous man, would send those who turned to him for a blessing to Rabbi Hutner. The Chafetz Chaimalso used to do the same, who considered himself his student and used to ask for his blessing.When he publishedhis book "Collections of Laws" the Chafetz Chaim requested an approbation from Rabbi Hutner.The first page has a stampfrom נתן נטע עפראמעוויוויץ חופ"ק דווינסק.
