Historically, Koa is one of Hawaii\'s most honored heritage - highly revered and sacred to the people of Hawaii. In years past, the Hawaiians used Koa wood in their daily life. Today there are limited Koa trees left in Hawaii and Hawaii law bans the harvest of living trees so ALL Koa wood is from a fallen or dead tree. Koa wood is known for its deep rich colors and varied grain patterns - a wood of exceptional beauty and quality.
