This buckle was created by Kenneth Begay during the time that he worked at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, Arizona in the 1950\'s. During that time, he was commissioned by an association of cotton growers to make silver jewelry objects to present to association members during their annual meeting in Phoenix. This wonderful buckle is one of those items. The rectangular silver buckle has a cotton boll and a bud in an overlay of silver on silver. It\'s approximately 3\" long by 1\" wide. Reverse fittings are in silver and it is marked KB, Sterling and has the hallmark of the White Hogan.This unique piece is a collectible item that embodies the rich history and traditions of American indigenous peoples.
