This gorgeous Herkimer Diamond quartz cluster is from The Herkimer Diamond Mines KOA Resort in Middleville, New York!
It is an extremely unusual cluster of over 20 crystals perched on druzy dolostone matrix which measures 0.69 inches in length. The larger crystals have splotches of black hydrocarbon and appear to have grown over a small nub of gray druze. Sharp edges and terminations with an immaculate surface luster.
This is what\'s known as a floater, which formed floating in solution and resulted in crystal growth on every surface with no attachment marks, however there is one crystal with a damaged termination.1.25\" Perky box AND 1.25\" Acrylic base included!
