Hi there! After years of hiatus, I have returned to paint more commissions! If you are a returning customer, thank you so much for the continued support. If you are a new customer, thanks for taking a look at my listing! I am a long-time painter and customizer, and I used to run a large long-running painting service offered on . For a while, I became too busy to properly serve clients, and i therefore had to put a pause on painting. I have now found time to once again paint for my clients!
How this works:
1. Send me a message about your paintwork inquiry.
Send me a picture of the head or heads and describe to me the work you want done. If you have a body you need to match the head to, you can send pictures of that as well. I will paint blank heads or repaint factory heads to look even better!
2. I send you a price quote back
I will look at the photos and come up with a price I feel is fair for the work I'm doing.
3. you send me an offer for that quote
When i send you the quote you will then send an offer on for the price we agreed upon. I will then accept the sale of that offer on and you will be prompted to pay.
4. I accept, you pay, then you send me your heads. You can send the head or heads with a body or neck or skin tone to match the head to, or simply send the head alone.
5. I work on them and confirm you are happy with it, then send it back!
Depending on how busy I am, the heads can have a turnaround of as fast as a week or, at the longest, possibly a month or two. I work tirelessly in my personal life and in this painting work to make my clients happy and satisfied with the work I provide. I will always give updates to ensure you peace of mind on your sculpts.
☆Frequently Asked Questions☆
Do you paint things OTHER than 1/12 and 1/6 scale heads?
If it's a collectible and fits on my table, I'll paint it. Busts, Maquettes, Scale models, you name it. Pricing will be adjusted to match these other items. When in doubt, simply ask me if I would be open to painting it! 9/10 times the answer will be yes.
What are the price ranges normally like?
1/12 can range from $30 to $100.
1/6 from $75 to $200.
How are prices determined?
It comes down to a few things. Intricacy of the sculpt, amount of hours needed to create a good paint job, how much paint i need to use, and prior work experience. All of these combined are what I think about when giving a quote. I want my customers to have an excellent experience, but I also want to make sure I, too, am happy with the effort!
Are the heads in the images for sale?
Nope, these are just examples of my paint skills and my previous work - some for my personal collection, some as custom work for clients!
Can you sculpt me a head?
Although I explain in my listing that this is meant for painting heads, I would occasionally be asked to sculpt heads. At the time of my original listing, I did not do that. Now, however, i do practice and work on sculpting heads digitally. I am not quite yet comfortable with sculpting and printing custom heads, but maybe in the near future!
Can I return the head if I'm unhappy?
If, for some reason, the paintwork does not live up to expectations, I will work with you to either provide a partial refund or have you resend me it so I can make things right. I don't want to see customers unhappy. I began painting because I was unhappy with factory quality work, and I understand that excitement and dissapointment that comes along with that.
