This is a very large 3/4 groove axe made out of a black stone with cream inclusions.
Very impressive and attractive.
Axes of this size and condition are rare.
Bit shows what I call ceremonial use. These oversized axes in fine condition were most likely burial gifts.
One theory is that they were used only to cut the logs the tomb was made from.10 1/2\" long, 5 1/2\" wide, 2 1/2\" thick
