Description

The work features a modern design that beautifully preserves the natural character and warm color of the wood. The body is decorated with two cranes, pine trees, and other traditional Japanese motifs in delicate burned engraving.

Cranes are considered auspicious symbols of longevity, happiness, and good fortune in Japan, making “Soukaku” an especially meaningful decorative work.

Unlike ordinary souvenir kokeshi, this is a refined artistic piece by a highly awarded creator, with the original box and wooden name plaque included.
